WEDDING DAY PUP TIPS!

Check your wedding venue is dog-friendly - many venues allow dogs into the grounds for photos however, if you wish to include your dog in the ceremony you must get approval from the venue and registrar too.

Find a dog loving photographer/videographer - whoever you choose, be sure to let them know in advance what your plans are so they are prepared and can plan fun ideas for photos.

Managing Expectations - based on your dogs temperament assign their roles - they could be a ring bearer, best dog, dog of honour or just simply involved in the photos - please ensure that you feel confident that they can cope with all the attention - weddings can be busy and stressful events!

Invest in a pet chaperone!

Wedding attire - if you are considering a special outfit make sure it is comfortable and safe for them, if you are thinking of including flowers it is important to remember that certain flowers and foliage can be poisonous to dogs - maybe consider using artificial flowers instead - ask about our outfit rentals!

Let your guests know - pop a simple note on the invitation or on your wedding website informing them that your pet will be in attendance. It is always best to prepare guests in case of allergies or if they are nervous around animals. However, if your pup is going to be a surprise guest it may be advisable to only make the anxious guests aware!

And finally....embrace the chaos! If your pup rebels on the big day just remember that these are the stories that will be told in years to come!
