Pet Selfie Competition T's & C's

1. Welcome to the pet photo competition organised by Four Paws & A Wedding, a wedding pet chaperone service. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or older.

  • Employees of Four Paws & A Wedding and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

  • Entries must feature a pet that is owned by the participant.

3. Entry Requirements

  • All entries must be submitted via email by September 30th 2024.

  • Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 entries.

  • Photos must be in JPEG and must not exceed 5MB.

  • Entries must be original, and the participant must own the rights to the photo.

  • Photos must not contain any offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful content.

4. Competition Period

  • The competition starts on 26th August 2024 and ends on 30th September 2024.

  • Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

5. Judging and Selection of Winners

  • A panel of judges selected by Four Paws & A Wedding will review all eligible entries.

  • Judging criteria include creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme of pets at weddings.

  • Winners will be announced on 4th October 2024 via Facebook and Instagram.

  • The judges' decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decisions.

6. Prizes

  • Prizes will be awarded to 1 winner. The prize details are as follows: Full Pet Chaperone Service for your wedding.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

  • Four Paws & A Wedding reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

7. Use of Entries

  • By entering the competition, participants grant Four Paws & A Wedding a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute the submitted photos for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • Participants agree that Four Paws & A Wedding may use their name, likeness, and photo in connection with the competition without further compensation or permission.

8. Personal Data

  • Participants' personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with Four Paws & A Wedding’s privacy policy.

  • Personal data will be used for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winners.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Four Paws & A Wedding is not responsible for any technical issues, hardware or software failures, or any other issues that may prevent a participant from entering the competition or receiving the prize.

  • Four Paws & A Wedding is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of any prize.

10. Disqualification

  • Four Paws & A Wedding reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.

  • Disqualified participants will forfeit any prizes won.

11. Amendments and Cancellation

  • Four Paws & A Wedding reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • Four Paws & A Wedding also reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time if circumstances arise outside of its control.
